Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 June 2026

1. Acceptance

By using Vector Squid ("the Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Vector Squid Does

Vector Squid is a 100% in-browser image editor and SVG converter. All image processing runs on your device using WebAssembly. No image data is uploaded to any server. We never see your images.

3. Free and Pro Plans

The Service is offered in a Free tier and a Pro tier. Features available in each tier are described on the pricing page. Tier entitlements may change with reasonable notice.

4. Payments

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing you agree to Stripe's Services Agreement. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel at any time through the Customer Portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

5. License to Use

Free tier: You may use Vector Squid and any SVG output for personal and commercial purposes, including client work, products for sale, and print or cut files used in a business context. There are no restrictions on how you use your output.

Pro tier: Pro unlocks advanced features (bulk convert, advanced refine, custom presets, and EPS/DXF/PDF export). Pro output carries the same unrestricted personal and commercial usage rights as the Free tier.

The software itself (code, design, WASM binaries) remains the property of Vector Squid and may not be redistributed, reverse-engineered, or resold.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not use the Service to process images you do not have the right to use, or to produce content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights. You are responsible for the content you process.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet any specific quality requirements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vector Squid's liability for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $10, whichever is greater.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via the app or email.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
