01 Are my images actually private?
Yes — completely. Vector Squid runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded; your files never touch a server, so your work stays 100% private.
02 What file types can I upload?
PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, BMP, AVIF, TIFF, HEIC/HEIF, SVG and PDF. PDFs are rasterized from the first page; oversized files (>10 MB) are auto-downscaled.
03 Which vectorize mode should I pick?
Auto-analyze suggests one. Line Art for sketches, Logo for flat marks, Illustration for posterized art, Photo for full-colour scenes, Hybrid for colour clipped by clean outlines.
04 What can I export?
Free: SVG and PNG at 72 / 150 / 300 DPI. Pro adds vector PDF (screen printing), EPS (desktop publishing), and DXF (laser, CNC, Silhouette Studio).
05 Does it work with Cricut, Glowforge and Silhouette?
